Meditation

What is Meditation? 

Meditation has been practised for thousands of years and is considered a type of mind-body medicine. During meditation, one develops intentional focus and minimises random thoughts about the past or future. Many forms of meditation exist.

Guided Meditation is a form of meditation that uses different techniques to achieve or enhance the meditative state. At BM Wellness, we use a combination of imagery and music or music with verbal instructions during the sessions. 

 

Visualisation Meditation is a style of meditation in which you focus your attention on a positive image, thought, feeling, or sensation. Joanne visualides an image or concept in her mind’s eye and remains focused on this image during the session.
